Knowing the role of the databases makes a great tool for sorting date. Heres how to create one
1) Determine the purpose of the database
2) Design the tables or files
- Design tables or files on paper first
- Each table or file should contain data about one subject. The member table, for example, contains data about members.
3) Design the records and fields for each table or file.
- Be sure every record has a unquie primary key.
- Use seperate fields for logically distinict items
- Allow enough space for each field
- Set default values for frequently entered data.
4) Determine the relationships amoung the tables or files.

DATABASE
Today in class i learned about Database. I always hear "databases" but i never knew the real meaning behind them. A Database is date organized and allows us access to the data. With database users create a computerized database: add, change and delete date in database; sort and retrieve data from the database and create forms and reports from data in the database. The Database software to a business can be very important.For example, data keeps accurate information, verifiable information can be proven as incorrect or correct. Also businesses uses all types of information such as receipts, bank statements, pension plan summaries, stock analyses and credit reports that makes the database a very important asset. A store database might include Inventory, Members, and Purchases. In addition, Databases can be stored on a disk.

What i learned about computers today
Memory is a major part of computers, as with humans too ; ) Without memory where would we store extra data and where does it go when we store it? Memory is stored in 3 category of items. The byte is the basic storage unit. The byte are what trans mitts the memory from other storage devices and the data is what exists as "byte".
Memory size will determine the number of bytes, as mentioned above, how much available storage can be held. The terms are very obvious abbervations such as Kilobye is equal to a thousand bytes holding about 1/2 pgs if text , Megebyte is equal to about one million bytes holding about 500 pgs of text, Gigabyte 1 billion holding 500,000 pgs of text and lastly Terabyte 1 trillion holding 5000,000,000. There are many types of memory, some being volatile memory meaning its loses its data when computer is turned off and Nonvolatile memory being there permenat even when computer is off. There are also many types of removable memory devices for example, flash memory cards, usb, pc cards and express card modules.

What i Learned about computers
Today i learned about the roles of the computer system units and different processors. A system unit is a case that contains the electronic components of the computer used to process data.Devices may include keyboad, mouse, printer. phone, flash drive, digital camera, phones and laptop.
The processer interperts and carries out the basic instructions that operates a computer. There are differents kinda of processor such as multi core processor quad core and dule processor acting as a better way to speed things up and increase overall proformance.
I also learned what role the "mother board" plays. The mother board system is the main circuit in the unit. The mother board allows slots for extra needed memory and for adapters and expansion slots.

What i learned about computers
Microsoft word is not as easy as i thought it was. I had trouble with the project last saturday because i really don't use it much except for writing simple documents and check spelling. I learned how to use bullets, create different shape pictures, insert images from the web, use borders and highlight text using different fonts. This new knowledge can really help with me with lots of things other then school.
It was self explanitory using the book, it told me exactly how to locate each item , while doing so i also played with some of the other gadgets microsoft has provided, such as clip art, doudle spacing, smart art, and charts.

what i learned about computers
What i learned about computer today.
There is much more to computers than i ever thought. i never really sat down and thought the ways behind how a computer really works. i learned the difference between fioz and dsl. i learned some very helpful sites, such as offlease.com.i also leaned how the computer transmits information 1 and 0. I learned about plug ins, wifi wi max or much more. i learned about firefox, in which i have never heard of in my life.
